Another World of Windows

ongoing photo series, featured work showing here

Outside looking in, inside looking elsewhere. Still life in city windows is observed in ever changing outside inside cross light, and in moments of motion frozen in time. From the pavement and walkway, from across streets, from window to window. We are outside looking in, but glazed barriers become multiple reflective portals to other dimensions. Street Screen Scenes. Stages we cannot walk on but can more than project into. Objects are framed and focused on, or appear in diluted form, in opaque mists. Scenes to another world of looking. The windows and glass frontages of offices, shops, restaurants cafes and bars, places of work, of leisure, homes and other settings reveal glimpses into how we present ourselves to the outside world, sometimes forget ourselves, of seeing a version of how we live today. Photo history echoes here too. Modern city life as both highlighted everyday experience and edited projected fantasy. Windows are a wonder!.
